Aion2 Bot weekly update, Oct 17–23: Water Dragon gear runs, Krao Cave at 60K, daily dungeons and auto Abyss

Aion2 Bot shipped a new build almost every day this week. October 17 brought a new boss-skill evasion system. On October 19, fully automatic Krao Cave runs went live, and October 20–21 kept adjusting party and queue rules. October 22 added a Daily Dungeon, a Daily Nightmare and the Awakening Battle to Daily Activities, plus automatic Abyss entry on the All-in-One card. On October 23 the Normal Water Dragon dungeon arrived: a character without enough combat power for Krao Cave now farms armor there first.

That closes the gap between the main story and the endgame loop. A character can go from questing to dungeons to the Abyss without you stepping in. Below is the behavior as of October 23, 22:41 (UTC+8), with earlier values called out where a later build replaced them. The daily notes at the end have the exact release times.

The progression path now: story → dailies → Water Dragon → Krao → Abyss

On October 23 the team described the idea behind the new build: when item level is too low, farm the Water Dragon for a full set of high-defense gold armor, then run Krao Cave for weapons and materials, and once the weapon is good enough, move on to the Abyss. In the bot, that becomes this order:

  1. Main story and side quests: with Normal Water Dragon support added on the 23rd, the main story now runs all the way through.
  2. Daily activities: before Auto Dungeon, the bot runs Daily Quests, the Nightmare dungeon and the Awakening Battle, so item level goes up first.
  3. Normal Water Dragon: when side quests reach the Auto Dungeon step and the character is still below the Krao Cave threshold, it enters the Normal Water Dragon to farm armor until it reaches the threshold.
  4. Krao Cave: opens only at 60K combat power. A 16:48 build on the 23rd lowered the threshold to 55K; the 21:02 build restored 60K, and that is the current rule.
  5. Abyss: the All-in-One card enters the Abyss automatically and uses Rift Stones when Abyss time runs short (details below).

Who can use it: Auto Dungeon is now limited to the All-in-One monthly card. Other card types were supposed to have a free trial until October 26, but so many accounts joined the trial that the team ended it early on the night of the 22nd.

Normal Water Dragon dungeon (new on October 23)

  • Gear catch-up: characters below the Krao threshold farm armor here and switch to Krao Cave automatically once they qualify.
  • Final boss wave attack: from 21:02, the bot dodges the final boss’s wave attack. If the wave still kills the character, it revives automatically after the skill ends.
  • No green orbs during final bosses: from 22:41, characters no longer run off to pick up green orbs while a dungeon’s final boss is up.

Krao Cave: party rules and this week’s combat fixes

Fully automatic Krao Cave went live on the 19th. It matches ordinary players, so teammates do not need Aion2 Bot. The host keeps at least one tank and one healer in the party, and drops the Cleric requirement when there are two or more Chanters. The rules in effect now:

Rule Current setting
Opening Krao Cave 60K combat power (restored 21:02 on the 23rd)
Teammate filter 60K at first, 55K after 3 minutes in queue, 50K after 6 minutes
Clerics Fixed 50K filter
Item level ≥1200 Counts as 60K: the host won’t kick them, and they can Quick Join
Characters at 60K+ Quick Join other rooms by default; can be turned off in the Control Center
Hosting your own room First bump 61 seconds after creation, then every 61 seconds

If you set field Kinah farming in the Control Center’s daily tasks, the character farms at that spot while queued and leaves combat to enter once the party is ready. Before queueing it claims the bonus reward for completing 14 runs, and characters that already hit today’s field Kinah target skip the dungeon queue. The October 15–21 weekly roundup explains how these rules developed.

Combat inside the dungeon changed a lot this week too:

  • Skill evasion: the new boss evasion system went live on the 17th and reached Krao Cave on the 18th. Since the 23rd, melee classes also dodge the first two bosses’ skills when their HP is low instead of tanking them.
  • Final boss hitbox fix: on the 23rd, a bug was fixed where the Krao final boss’s model scale was not taken into account, leaving the evasion range 1 meter too short. On the 20th–21st, dodging the whirlwind slash and the timing of the interrupt on boss skill 08 were also tuned.
  • Odyle Energy bag: on the 23rd, the bag check was improved so the bot no longer leaves a dungeon without opening the bag.
  • Skill rotations: the 22:41 build on the 23rd improved every class’s skill use, especially rotations inside dungeons, with a higher attack rate and more sensible skill timing.

Daily Activities: Daily Dungeon, Daily Nightmare, Awakening Battle

Three activities joined the Control Center’s Daily Activities on the 22nd:

  • Daily Dungeon: enabled by default and yields a large number of enchantment stones. Since the 23rd, the bot only runs it when more enchantment stones are needed, so each character gets a reasonable share instead of everything piling up on one character.
  • Daily Nightmare: picks a suitable boss based on the character’s own situation and decides when to stop challenging. Rewards go first to buying Daevanion points automatically, then to stigma skill points.
  • Awakening Battle: newly added.

If you already have a template, select the default template again in the Control Center so the new flow takes effect.

Character growth: enhancement follows combat power, and more runs on its own

  • Enhancement and equipping by combat power (23rd): gear enhancement and auto-equip now look at combat power instead of item level. The default minimum is 60K, and below 60K the AI takes over enhancement. In the new build, new gear only comes from dungeon runs. According to the team, a character can now reach 72K combat power with one click.
  • Level 45 Daevanion module (22nd): the module added in the October 21 game update is supported, with automatic allocation and a separate priority for each class.
  • Class build templates (18th): Daevanion, skill and stigma allocation templates were replaced for all eight classes. New characters use them right away; for existing characters, reset allocation once by hand and the AI reallocates using the new template. The team says actual damage can rise two to three times.
  • Wings (23rd): after the last Awakening quest is completed, the bot uses and equips the wings automatically.
  • Mini-game tokens (23rd): converted into Daevanion points and spent automatically.

Abyss: automatic entry and Rift Stones on the All-in-One card

Since the 22nd, the All-in-One card can enter the Abyss automatically. Accounts with an active game membership buy Rift Stones automatically and use them when Abyss time runs short. Stones closest to expiring go first and permanent ones last, and automatic use never pushes Abyss time past the cap.

Control Center: one IP per account, character scheduling, multi-boxing

  • One IP per account (22nd): the Control Center can bind a separate IP to each account and keep using it. You provide the IPs yourself, and third-party one-IP-per-account tools are not compatible with the Control Center. According to the team, one IP per account is effective against bans.
  • All character switching goes through the Control Center (22nd): switching to a gathering character or to another character is scheduled there, and the in-game auto-switch was removed.
  • Eight characters back to back (22nd): fixed manually expanded character slots not getting characters created automatically.
  • Account status switch (19th): turn off the switch at the far left of the account list and the Control Center stops controlling that account, which is handy when you play it by hand.
  • Rest after dailies (18th): accounts that log off after finishing Daily Activities rest and queue again for the next cycle. Before switching characters, membership accounts keep 300,000–500,000 Kinah on hand and store the rest in the server warehouse. On the 20th, Kinah totals that showed too high were corrected.

Other changes and fixes

  • Auto Quest (17th): after 10 deaths in the same exploration cave or 15 deaths on the same side quest, the bot gives up instead of dying over and over. Teleport tickets are used first when entering Rifts, and a bug that could make a character turn around mid-flight was fixed.
  • Market: on the 19th the auto-listing minimums were lowered (blue refining stones from 10, green from 20). Since the 22nd, spirit stones are no longer listed automatically. Membership accounts claim membership rewards automatically.
  • Gathering filter: on the 21st the open-world gathering filter was removed and the Abyss gathering filter kept. The gathering quality filter for the Global server came back as an All-in-One card feature.
  • Guardian verification: since the 19th, the game logs out to the character screen to handle the captcha if the answer service cannot be reached or after 8 or more wrong answers in a row. On the 21st, answering failures on the Hong Kong server were fixed.
  • Updater: on the 17th the updater was fixed to use the backup route. There were two forced updates on the night of the 22nd. If the updater fails while many people are updating, try again a little later.

How to update

Open the updater to get the latest build. Rules changed often this week, so try a few accounts first and see how your class and setup handle the Water Dragon and Krao Cave before turning it on in bulk. Automation tools carry account risk, so weigh that yourself.
