Aion2 Bot Update Oct 19: Full-Auto AION 2 Krao Cave, Party Rules, Account Switch

Aion2 Bot had eight releases on October 19, at 08:11, 09:47, 11:54, 16:11, 17:29, 18:30, 20:41 and 21:56, plus a small update at 21:20. The headline came at 16:11: fully automatic Krao Cave is officially live, running from forming a party to clearing the dungeon with no manual input. Later releases tuned party rules and the use of resurrection stones and Odyle Energy.

In the Control Center, Daily Activities can now hand off to Krao Cave, and the account list has a new status switch. Guardian verification, Auto Market listing and story quests also changed.

Auto Dungeon: fully automatic Krao Cave is live

The 16:11 announcement listed three core features: fully automatic party matchmaking, automatic potion restocking, and automatic use of Odyle Energy.

The team says parties created by Aion2 Bot get high matchmaking priority, making it easier to match with high combat power players. Parties match directly with regular players, not other bot users, and the team says it will not build a feature for bot users to party with each other.

Party composition rules

  • Combat power floor: an existing, previously unannounced floor was 1200 combat power (explained at 17:29). At 18:30 it rose to at least 1300; members below that are kicked.
  • Cleric and melee (17:29): the party needs at least one Cleric and one melee class. If not, the lowest combat power DPS is kicked until it is.
  • Tank and healer (18:30): the party always has at least one tank and one healer. The team says this greatly raises the clear rate.
  • Chanters (21:56): with two or more Chanters in the party, a Cleric is no longer required.

Odyle Energy and resurrection stones

  • Saving resurrection stones (17:29): none are used on the first two bosses; on the final boss it depends on the situation.
  • Auto-buy (20:41): before entering the dungeon, the bot buys this week’s membership-limited Odyle Energy and resurrection stones. This is mandatory: if the account has a membership, it buys them automatically. The team says auto-buying Lower Abyss Rift Stones will be added later.
  • Fixes: opening the Odyle Energy bag being interrupted (17:29); the Odyle Energy bag not being opened after a run (18:30).

Combat and flow

  • Melee dodging (08:11): melee classes no longer dodge the boss’s small skills, so they stop running back and forth.
  • Ranged classes (18:33): the team’s own tests show very low death rates for Rangers and healers. As ranged classes, they actively dodge small skills.
  • Stopping mid-run (17:29): fixed Auto Dungeon stopping after entering the dungeon.
  • Final boss entry (21:20): the imprint step before the final boss was dropped, so the party enters as soon as the boss can be fought. Dungeon rooms are now created with random names.
  • Movement (21:56): characters sprint while moving and no longer clear mobs that don’t need clearing.

Krao Cave got main-story boss dodging the day before; see the October 18 update.

Control Center: Daily Activities into Krao Cave

From 16:11, Daily Activities supports Krao Cave. Pick the default template again in the Control Center, and accounts run auto character creation and leveling → daily quests → Krao Cave runs. The minimum combat power for the dungeon is 1050. The team says characters leveled by the bot reach 1080 combat power.

Control Center: account status switch

The 11:54 release added a status switch at the far left of the Control Center’s account list. Turn it off and that account no longer takes commands from the Control Center, a quick way to take it out when you play it yourself.

Guardian verification: no more getting stuck

The 09:47 release fixed the verification issue from the previous version and added two fallbacks:

  • If the Control Center can’t reach the Guardian verification solver, the game does a quick character-select logout to deal with the captcha instead of sitting on the verification screen.
  • After 8 or more wrong answers in a row, it also does a quick logout to deal with the captcha.

Auto Market listing: lower material thresholds

From 11:54, fewer refining stones are needed before auto listing:

  • Blue Artisan’s Refining Stone: from 50 down to 10.
  • Green Expert’s Refining Stone: from 100 down to 20.

Story quests

From 11:54, melee classes no longer dodge story-instance boss skills while above 60% HP, and a level 30 story instance final boss that could crash the game was fixed.

Other changes

  • Auto gear enhancement (21:56): high-quality blue gear is now enhanced to +7 (previously +3). Lower-quality gear still goes to +3.
  • Class points (18:30): fixed Guardian Points not being allocated properly for Rangers and Gladiators.
  • Server transfer (11:54): fixed characters not being recognized after a server transfer.

How to update

To update, open the updater. On game maintenance days the update is mandatory and the old version is pulled. Test a new version on a few machines first, then update the rest.
