Aion.Onl Account Progression Update: Steam Fixes, Abyss Feathers and Automated Pet Mount Farming
Getting a new character established is a chain of activities. Quests have to move forward, items need handling, gathering routes have to reach the Abyss, and the routine must recover when the character dies. The October 4, 2026, 23:13:21 (UTC+8) release strengthens several links in that chain and adds pet and mount farming to Auto Combat. Here is what changed and where each improvement fits.
Three Steam-server interruptions addressed
The update fixes automatic auction-house listings on Steam servers, so the listing step can work as intended when a player is ready to sell items. It also fixes automatically entering the Abyss for gathering, restoring that transition in an Abyss gathering setup. Finally, it fixes the case where automation did not resume normal work after death and revival. A long-running routine needs to recover after an interruption, not merely start correctly.
These are distinct fixes for selling, moving into an Abyss gathering route, and continuing after revival. Steam-server players can update and check the behavior against their own configured routine.
Abyss feathers without a route held hostage by one target
Abyss gathering now includes a “Gather Feathers” option. When selected, it attempts to collect all feathers on the current map. Each individual feather has a three-minute timeout. If that feather still has not been collected after three minutes, the system abandons that target and moves on. The limit applies per feather; it is not a three-minute limit on the whole gathering session.
The release also fixes a bug that sent a character back to the revival point while gathering nearby. For Asmodian melee characters, it supplies default Abyss patrol coordinates, reducing the initial setup needed to choose a patrol location. Together, these changes make the route more resilient to an unreachable feather, an unwanted detour near the revival point, or a missing default patrol point.
Flight support when energy runs low
When flight energy falls below 15%, the system now uses a flight potion. It automatically recognizes all flight potions, rather than depending on one specific potion type. The threshold is strictly below 15%, so it should not be read as an instruction to use a potion at exactly 15%. Alongside the earlier improvement to choosing when to take off in Auto Quest and Auto Gathering, this addresses both route planning and the energy needed to continue flying.
Pet and mount farming inside Auto Combat
Auto Combat now has an automated pet and mount farming option. Once enabled, it selects the nearest eligible coordinate on the current map, farms there, and switches to the next coordinate when that one is complete. A single coordinate can cover multiple pet types at the same time. That matters when several targets share a location: the character can finish the work at that point before moving on.
The coordinate selection is scoped to the current map. It is not a promise to search every map or automatically travel between maps for pets and mounts. Within one map, however, the feature removes much of the manual work of selecting the next point and deciding when to move.
Recent releases connected 0–45 Auto Quest progression with worthwhile side quests and selected reward caves after the main story. This evening’s release builds on that foundation by fixing Steam-server breakpoints and extending Abyss gathering and pet-mount routines.
