Aion.Onl October 5 Update Roundup: PURPLE Global and Steam Login, Smart Pet Farming, Smart Planning and a Complete Leveling Chain

October 5 was launch day for AION 2 Global, and Aion.Onl shipped six updates over the course of it. Early-morning fixes covered smart pet farming and Abyss farming, the full leveling chain was working by midday, and by late evening the tool supported both PURPLE Global account login and Steam account authorization. Here is what changed, grouped by how you use it. If you play on the global servers, start with the first section.

Global login: NC email accounts and Steam authorization

The 22:59 update adapted the updater and Control Center for PURPLE Global account login. At first only NC email accounts were supported. An hour later, at 23:59, the Control Center added Steam account authorization, so both account types now work.

The Control Center can also set the region for a global account. If you leave it unset, the tool uses the region of the last account that logged in. If you run several accounts across different regions, check the region for each one.

Important: you need the PURPLE version of the global client. Whether you sign in with an NC email account or through Steam authorization, the Control Center launches the PURPLE global client. You cannot point it at the Steam client. Download the global client separately through PURPLE first, then sign in from the Control Center.

The full leveling chain now works: Chanter and Gladiator recommended

The 13:18 update fixed the instance played during character creation, so auto questing now runs the entire leveling chain from a brand-new character.

If you are creating a new character to level automatically, Chanter and Gladiator are the recommended classes. Both handle the story bosses more easily.

Smart Pet Farming: better routes, then back to normal farming

Smart Pet Farming received three rounds of changes overnight:

• Better spot selection (01:24): coordinates with only scattered monsters are excluded, so the character spends less time waiting for respawns.
• More natural patrol routes (01:24): the route is shaped into a loop based on where the monsters are, and runs as a ping-pong cycle. Each character’s route is generated on the fly, so multiple characters don’t follow the same path.
• Re-planning after every pet (01:24): once a pet is captured, the tool plans a more efficient route for the next one.
• Automatic return to farming (01:58): after every pet on the current map has been farmed, the character switches back to its original default combat farming mode on its own.
• Tuned patrol range (03:04): the coordinate range used for Smart Pet Farming patrols was refined further.

Auto Combat: new Smart Planning button

The 03:04 update added a Smart Planning button to the Auto Combat module. Based on your current position and filter settings, it builds the best patrol route automatically. You no longer have to add coordinates one by one.

Abyss and class improvements

• Abyss middle-layer respawn fix (03:04): after dying in the Abyss middle layer without an occupied artifact, the character could fail to return to its farming spot. That is fixed.
• Assassin Flying Thunder God (23:59): the Assassin’s Flying Thunder God handling has been improved.
• License check network fix (01:24): network issues during license verification were improved, which helps during launch-day traffic.

Update timeline
