AION 2 Cleric Guide (Global): Stigmas, Resurrection and Party Life

Short answer: on AION 2 Global the Cleric is the main healer, the class pickup groups wait longest for, and one of the slowest to farm solo. Slot the resurrection skill when you are learning a dungeon or your group asks for it, and swap it for an extra heal or shield once the group knows the fights. Spend your four stigma slots on survival first and damage second, and be careful with Korean guides: Korea is several seasons ahead of Global.

What a Cleric does on Global

Global launched on October 5, 2026 with eight classes, and the Cleric is the dedicated healer among them: heals, cleanses, and the only real way to bring a teammate back mid-fight. Our class tier list for Global rates it near the top for PvE group value and near the bottom for solo farming speed. You rarely die, but you kill slowly.

That trade-off shapes the whole experience. Players on the Steam forums describe waiting up to an hour in pickup groups for any healer to join. The explanation healers give is simple: groups expect them to keep everyone alive and put out damage, and they take the blame when a wipe happens. Fewer people want that job, so a decent Cleric is never short of invites.

Should you slot the resurrection skill?

This is the most argued Cleric question on Global, and both sides have a point.

The case for slotting it:

  • New players fail mechanics and die. A healer who can revive keeps a learning run going.
  • Some players say Clerics who refuse to carry it get kicked or blacklisted from groups.
  • One player points out that in Abyss PvP, teammates cannot use resurrection stones, so the Cleric’s revive is the only way back into the fight. This is a player report; check it in your own Abyss runs.

The case for leaving it off:

  • The cooldown is long. If people die to the same mechanic twice, one revive does not save the run.
  • When someone dies, their first reflex is to use a Resurrection Spiritstone, so your cast often lands on someone who is already up.
  • That slot could hold another heal or a shield that stops the death in the first place.

The stone point has an official basis. NC gave every Global player 15 Resurrection Spiritstones (Bound) as the 400,000-player launch gift, and the October 7 patch put a Season 1 Resurrection Spiritstone in the Wind Breeze Merchants shop for 25,000 Kina, limited to 10 per server per week, on sale until the December 15 (PST) maintenance.

What most experienced Clerics do: ask before the pull. If the group wants a rez, slot it. Better still, set up two hotbar presets, one with the revive and one without, so you can switch in a second between runs.

Spending four stigma slots

Players report that the Cleric has four stigma slots, and that two of them are effectively locked in by core healing. Without a Chanter in the group, they say a third slot gets used up as well, to cover support the Chanter would otherwise bring. That leaves one flexible slot, sometimes two, which is why stigma choices feel so tight.

A simple order of priorities:

Situation First pick Second pick
New dungeon, learning group Resurrection, or a party-wide protection skill for the big mechanic Strongest single-target heal
Farm runs with a group that knows the fights Extra heal or shield One damage stigma
Group with a Chanter Drop the buff the Chanter covers Damage or utility
Solo leveling Damage stigmas One sustain heal

Korean players who cleared hard content early report the same principle: survive first. One Korean first-clear write-up built around a party-wide invulnerability skill for the most dangerous mechanic, plus two strong group heals, and only then thought about damage. Their skill levels were higher than anything on Global right now, so copy the idea rather than the exact build.

Community builders such as questlog.gg’s character builder are handy for planning, but they are unofficial tools, not NC data.

How much damage should a Cleric do?

Pickup groups on Global judge everyone by damage, including healers. Players have shared rough numbers:

  • One player at around 1,840 gear score said a sustained output of roughly 23k is normal for that level, using only two of the four stigmas on damage skills.
  • Another estimated Cleric burst at about 50k and sustained damage at about 35k at their gear.

These are single-player estimates on different gear, not benchmarks. What the advice has in common is the order: put your damage buff up first, then run your damage macros, and only push damage while nobody needs healing.

Life in a party

A few things make group life easier:

  • Say your setup up front. “Rez slotted, heal-focused” or “no rez, shield build” avoids arguments mid-run.
  • Stay in range. Several Clerics say boss mechanics that scatter the group are harder than the healing itself. Position first, then heal.
  • Save the big group heal. Keep it for the moment several people drop at once, and cover the rest with smaller heals.
  • The Chanter question. Some players argue that two support classes in one group is a waste because certain buffs do not stack. Others are happy to have both in harder content. If you are the Cleric, make sure you are not duplicating what the Chanter already brings.

PvP notes

Global has no reliable PvP data yet, so most advice comes from Korea. Korean Cleric players suggest building block first, then critical resistance, and leaning more heavily on critical resistance in the arena. Treat this as a direction to test, not a final answer.

Global vs Korea: what is different

Korean videos and Inven posts are the deepest source of Cleric guides, but the game states differ:

  • Season. Global is on Season 1. Korea and Taiwan are several seasons ahead; Korean community news already discusses Season 4 dungeons.
  • Classes. Korea and Taiwan have a ninth class, the Brawler, added on July 1, 2026. Global has eight classes, so ignore Brawler party setups for now.
  • Stigma rules. Korean posts describe higher stigma caps, more slots and free resets in later chapters. None of that is confirmed for Global yet. Check NC’s patch notes before you plan around it.
  • Balance. The October 13 (PDT) Global patch only changed Spiritmaster and Sorcerer skills. Nothing changed for the Cleric, so builds from launch week are still valid.

Where Aion2 Bot fits

Build choices are yours to make; a bot cannot read a boss fight for you. What it can take off your hands is the solo part, which is the Cleric’s slowest. Auto Combat has run a Cleric skill rotation since October 9, when Templar and Cleric were the last classes added, and it recognizes stigma skills stacked on your hotbar. Pair it with patrol points for field grinding, pet farming or the daily Kinah cap, and set the in-game action mode to “Aion1” first. The helper runs in fullscreen too; set your resolution before installing, as the setup guide explains.

Keep the risk in mind: NC restricts accounts for bots and unauthorized programs, and no third-party tool can promise you will not be banned. Aion.Onl uses advanced anti-detection techniques to protect accounts as far as possible. New users can register at user.aion.onl for a free 3-hour trial card, and support is on Telegram.
