AION 2 Global Restricts 10,326 Accounts, the Largest Batch So Far
Region: Steam/PURPLE Global, not Korea or Taiwan. NC has posted its fifth account-restriction notice for AION 2 Global, reporting 10,326 restricted accounts. The action is listed at October 16, 9:00 p.m. PDT / October 17, 6:00 a.m. CEST, about 23 hours after the previous round.
Five notices side by side
| Notice | Effective (PDT, as listed) | Accounts restricted |
|---|---|---|
| First | Oct 10, 11:00 p.m. | 4,996 |
| Second | Oct 12, 11:00 p.m. | 10,000 |
| Third | Oct 14, 12:00 a.m. | 9,422 |
| Fourth | Oct 15, 10:00 p.m. | 7,933 |
| Fifth (this one) | Oct 16, 9:00 p.m. | 10,326 |
This is the first batch above 10,000, so the smaller October 15 figure did not mark a slowdown. The five figures add up to 42,677. NC still publishes no running total and does not say whether batches overlap, so treat that sum as a rough ceiling rather than a count of unique accounts.
The last two notices came on consecutive days. NC has not announced a fixed reporting schedule.
Same categories, same wording
The body text matches the earlier notices. Action was taken against:
- Botting and gold farming: macros, bots or other unauthorized programs, and organized play patterns consistent with gold farming or real-money trading (RMT).
- Economy abuse: abnormal trading patterns that disrupt the game economy.
The listed reasons are again Gold Farming / Bot Operations, Use of Unauthorized Programs, and Real-Money Trading (RMT) from the Operation Policy sanctions table. Penalty lengths are not broken down, so “restricted” does not automatically mean a permanent ban.
Long sessions and security locks
NC repeats that restrictions follow a review and that normal play, including long grinding sessions, is not affected. Being online for many hours is not described as a violation on its own; that line does not cover unauthorized programs.
A small number of accounts were again given a temporary security lock after access from a device or connection that looked risky. NC says a lock is not a penalty and is lifted through Customer Support.
What to do if you are affected
- Read the notice in your account first: a security lock goes to support, a restriction you think is wrong goes to a ticket, which NC says is reviewed individually.
- RMT and abnormal trading sit next to bots in every notice, and NC has separately warned against buying Kinah or Quna from third parties.
- These are Global figures only. The notice does not explain how detection works.
