AION 2 Global Opens Its Twitch Drops Hub, With a Separate Steam Account-Linking Step

AION 2 Global now has a dedicated Twitch Drops hub ahead of launch, giving international players a clearer picture of how stream rewards will be delivered.

The key detail for Steam users is easy to miss: the official page specifically tells players on Steam to select the Steam icon when linking their account. Anyone planning to earn launch-period Drops should therefore make sure the reward connection is attached to the platform they will actually use.

Global servers only

NC’s FAQ says these Drops are for AION 2 Global server players. Korea and Taiwan server accounts are not eligible for the Global campaign rewards.

The earning flow follows the familiar Twitch system. Participating streams contribute toward a campaign’s watch-time requirement, and an earned reward must then be claimed through the Twitch Drops Inventory. Progress can continue across different participating channels rather than being locked to one streamer.

What Steam players should check before launch

The hub is live, but individual campaign reward tables and watch-time requirements depend on the active Drops campaign. Before Advanced Access begins, Steam players can still prepare by checking that their Twitch login works and that AION 2 is linked through the Steam option.

Once a campaign is active, the Drops Inventory will be the place to verify progress and claims. If a claimed reward does not arrive on an eligible Global account, the official FAQ directs players to AION 2 Support.

With Advanced Access approaching on September 30, the appearance of a dedicated Drops hub is another sign that AION 2 Global’s launch ecosystem is moving from testing into live-service preparation.
