AION 2 War for Atreia Gets a Full Broadcast Roadmap Through October 15

AION 2’s War for Atreia campaign now has a proper event roadmap. The official War Table site has gone live with a broadcast schedule extending from the September 23 team draft all the way to the final War for Atreia Ascension show on October 15.

That is a meaningful step beyond the earlier announcement, which confirmed the six captains, 60 creators, faction-versus-faction format and upcoming Twitch rewards but left the longer event cadence unclear.

The draft is complete; First Strike is next

The War Table marks the September 23, 10:00 AM PDT Team Draft Stream as finished. That broadcast was the point where captains assembled their Legions and the competitive field was formally set.

The next major official broadcast is First Strike on September 30 at 10:00 AM PDT, which the site describes as the moment War for Atreia officially begins.

That date is especially important because it is also the first day of Founder’s Pack Advanced Access. In other words, creator progression and the permanent global-server economy begin moving at the same time.

The official schedule now runs through October 15

The main broadcast checkpoints currently listed are:

  • September 23 — Team Draft: captains build their Legions;
  • September 30 — First Strike: the competition formally starts;
  • October 5 — War Desk: the first broad look at standings and the state of the war;
  • October 12 — War Desk: a final check-in before the finish;
  • October 15 — War for Atreia Ascension: faction and Legion champions are crowned.

The hub also tells viewers to tune in to the competition on the days between the major studio broadcasts, which reinforces that this is not just a handful of promotional streams. The competition is intended to progress continuously through participating creators and their communities.

Rules and scoring now have a dedicated section

The official hub also includes a Rules & Scoring area with separate modules for:

  • Scoring Strategy;
  • How the Competition Works;
  • Scoring Caps;
  • War Orders;
  • Manual Verification;
  • Fair Play;
  • Community Conduct.

That structure matters because War for Atreia has two simultaneous competitive layers: the broader Elyos vs. Asmodians Faction War and the Top Legion race between the six creator teams.

NC previously confirmed that campaign bounties and viewer recruitment will contribute to the competition. The new rule categories also show that score limits, verification and fair-play enforcement are being treated as distinct parts of the event rather than leaving everything to raw in-game totals.

October 5 becomes a particularly important checkpoint

The first War Desk stream takes place on October 5, the same day AION 2 opens globally as a free-to-play title.

That creates an unusual mid-event population shift. Founder’s Pack players will already have several days of progression behind them, while a much larger free-to-play audience begins entering servers on the same day the first formal standings check is broadcast.

For anyone watching server culture, faction population and creator-community migration, that October 5 snapshot may be more interesting than the opening score alone.

Some details are still missing

The War Table gives the event a much clearer structure, but it does not yet expose every number behind the competition. The complete point formula, detailed scoring caps, Twitch Drop items and watch-time requirements are not all publicly spelled out on the accessible page.

So the useful takeaway is not that every rule is finalized for public reading, but that the event now has an official timeline and a defined rule framework stretching through its conclusion.
