AION 2 Global Twitch Drops Guide: Link the Account You Actually Play On

AION 2 Global has published a dedicated account-linking warning for Twitch Drops. The key rule is simple: the account linked to Twitch must be the account you are actually using to play AION 2.

Steam players should link their Steam account. Players using NC PURPLE should link the corresponding NC/PURPLE account. Linking a different account can cause Drops to be delivered somewhere other than the character you are currently playing.

The official notice also warns against trying to fix a missing reward by separately linking an account again through the NC website. Doing so may break the existing connection and can temporarily leave a player unable to access the character tied to that relationship. If that happens, NC directs players to the account-linking FAQ rather than repeated relinking attempts.

Before claiming launch-period Drops, it is worth checking that three things match: the Twitch account earning the reward, the platform account used to log in, and the AION 2 account containing the intended character.

This guidance applies to the Steam / PURPLE Global service. Korea and Taiwan have separate regional services and event rules.
