AION 2 Global Resolves Steam Payment Issue: Missing Items Sent, Purchase Limits Restored

Region: Steam/PURPLE Global. This notice covers Steam payments only. NC has posted a notice on the AION 2 Steam announcements page saying some Steam payments failed to process correctly. In some cases purchases were never delivered; in others, players were blocked from buying again. According to NC, all necessary actions for the affected payments were completed on Wednesday, October 14, at 10:00. The notice does not say which time zone that refers to.

The problem window: October 6 to October 12

The notice gives the issue period as October 6, 2026 (Tue.) to October 12, 2026 (Mon.), the second week after the Global launch. Two different problems were involved:

NC apologized for how long the fix took and said it will keep working on a stable service.

What this means for Global players

If you bought anything in-game through Steam between October 6 and 12, check two things now. First, make sure anything you paid for but never received has arrived. Second, look at items that showed as “limit reached” after a payment that didn’t actually go through, and confirm you can buy them again.

NC says every affected payment has been handled and does not ask players to file anything. If something is still missing or a limit still looks wrong, open a ticket with NC Support and include your Steam purchase history. That is our suggestion, not a process described in the notice. PURPLE payments and other methods such as Apple Pay are not mentioned in this notice.
