AION 2 Global Fixes Advanced Access Recognition and In-Game Purchase Issues
AION 2 Global has deployed a live fix for two launch-window issues affecting player access and payments, while a separate Steam-to-PURPLE account-linking problem remains under investigation.
Advanced Access recognition has been fixed
Some Founder’s Pack owners reported that their Advanced Access entitlement was not being recognized correctly when they logged in. NC says that issue has now been fixed. The update does not require downtime; restarting the client applies the new build.
In-game purchase problems were also addressed
The same notice confirms that reported in-game purchase issues should now be resolved. That matters during the head-start period because Founder’s Pack entitlements, membership, the Battle Pass and other optional purchases all depend on a stable account and transaction flow.
Account linking is still being investigated
NC has not declared every account-related issue resolved. The team says it is still looking into reports from players who are having trouble linking Steam and PURPLE accounts.
Players should therefore distinguish between the two confirmed fixes — Advanced Access recognition and purchases — and the still-open account-linking issue.
This is a Global / Steam service update during Advanced Access ahead of the October 5 free-to-play launch.
