Aion 2 skill macro: the AI casts in your macro order
Set up the built-in skill macro in the game's skill window, and Aion2 Bot casts skills in the macro's order while fighting, instead of falling back to left and right mouse clicks. The macro's order is your skill priority: you decide in the game what goes first and what comes later. The team recommends that players who know how to build macros set them up themselves, because skills come out very fast.
- All classes
- New on October 26
Where to find it
- Game skill window
- Macro
- Current skill preset
There is no switch to turn on in the helper or the Control Center: if the current skill preset has a macro, it is used automatically; if not, the bot uses left/right clicks as before. Skills in the macro must be on your hotbar so they can be pressed.
What it does
- Reads the built-in macro of the current skill preset and cycles through its steps in order
- The macro's order is the skill priority, so you can set any casting order you like
- After each step it waits for the delay you set in the macro (at least 50 ms) before pressing the next one
- If a step can't be cast (on cooldown, conditions not met, not enough resource), it skips to the next step and presses left/right click for that beat, so the character never stands still
- The AI's own class rules, lit-up chain skills, gap closers and chasing still go first; the macro only takes over the beat that used to fall back to left/right clicks
- Used in field grinding, Auto Quest, Auto Dungeon and when fighting back after being attacked
- After you edit the macro or change skill presets, it takes effect within 5 seconds and starts again from the first step
How to use it
- Open the game's skill window and pick the skill preset you want to use.
- Under “Macro”, add skills in the order you want them cast, and set a delay for each step if needed.
- Make sure every skill in the macro is on your hotbar.
- Start Auto Combat, Auto Quest or Daily Activities as usual. No extra setup is needed.
- When the log shows a “[SkillMacro]” line saying the current preset's N-step macro is replacing the left/right-click fallback, the macro has been read.
Settings explained
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Macro step order | Sets the casting order for the fallback beats, cycling in sequence. Up to 64 steps are read from one macro. |
| Delay per step | How long to wait after this step before pressing the next one; anything below 50 ms counts as 50 ms. |
| Skill preset | Only the macro in the preset you are currently using is read. Different presets can have different macros, and the bot follows within a few seconds when you switch. |
| In-game macro switch | Doesn't need to be on. The program only reads the macro's contents; it never turns the game's own macro switch on or off for you, and you won't see a “No macro set.” message. |
| Auto-repeat skills | While casting, the program automatically turns off “Auto-repeat skills” in the game settings so it doesn't fight the macro for key presses. |
Good to know
- The macro has to be set up correctly: it should contain skills that are on your hotbar, and its order is your casting priority. A badly built macro makes casting messier, not better.
- The program never turns on the game's own macro switch for you. With it on, the character gets dragged along by the macro's basic attacks and barely uses gap closers on distant targets, so the bot presses the macro's steps one beat at a time instead.
- With no macro set up, the bot alternates left and right clicks as the fallback, same as before.
- Try it on one character for a few minutes first to check the casting order, then set up macros for your other characters.
