AION 2 Global October 20/21 Maintenance: 5.5 Hours Scheduled

Service: AION 2 Steam/PURPLE Global. NC has scheduled another game-server maintenance window for Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 11:30 p.m. PDT, or Wednesday, October 21 at 8:30 a.m. CEST. The estimate in the notice is five hours and thirty minutes.

During the downtime, game login will be temporarily unavailable. Characters still connected when maintenance starts will be disconnected, so groups planning longer sessions should not rely on playing through the announced start time.

A local-time planning guide

If work finishes precisely within the estimated window, servers might reopen around 5:00 a.m. PDT / 2:00 p.m. CEST on October 21. This is arithmetic based on the estimate, not an official confirmation of service restoration. A completion update from NC is the reliable signal to try logging back in.

The maintenance start is 06:30 UTC on October 21. In mainland China, Singapore and Taiwan time zones, that corresponds to 14:30 on October 21. Players who arrange cross-region teams should agree on an absolute time rather than refer vaguely to “Tuesday night.”

Don’t mistake the maintenance notice for patch notes

The scheduling announcement says further update information will be shared later. It does not itself establish new class balancing, dungeon reward changes, market restrictions or additional events. Any such claims need a separate official patch announcement.

The October 6/7 maintenance notice gave a special duration for Asia. The new notice’s headline estimate should be read on its own terms rather than borrowing regional timings from an older maintenance.

Which regional servers does this cover?

These details concern Steam/PURPLE Global only. Korean and Taiwanese PLAYNC services have their own patch and maintenance schedules, even when individual game systems look similar.

Independent reporting; this is not an NC operations notice.
