AION 2 Global Reveals Advanced Access Server Matchups: Four EU Pairs and One Faction Per Server

Categories: Tags: AION2 Global Steam Server

AION 2 Global has published its first Advanced Access server matchups ahead of the September 30 head start. The practical takeaway for guilds is bigger than a list of world names: NC is clarifying a launch structure where each home server belongs to one faction, while Elyos and Asmodian worlds are paired for cross-faction content.

Players therefore need to coordinate region, faction and server before character creation instead of assuming both factions can share the same home world.

Europe starts with four pairings

The currently announced European Advanced Access matchups are:

  • Siel (Elyos) vs. Israphel (Asmodian)
  • Nezekan (Elyos) vs. Zikel (Asmodian)
  • Vaizel (Elyos) vs. Triniel (Asmodian)
  • Kaisinel (Elyos) vs. Lumiel (Asmodian)

For NA East / Latin America, the published pairings include Siel–Israphel and Nezekan–Zikel. NA West / Asia currently lists Siel–Israphel.

The paired worlds matter for faction-versus-faction spaces such as the Abyss and Spacetime Rifts. Your home server determines the community on your faction side, while the matchup determines the opposing population you are initially placed against.

Matchups can change later

NC is leaving room to rotate pairings as the live service develops. Server progression, active combat population and faction performance can all affect whether a matchup remains healthy, so the launch list should be treated as the starting configuration rather than a permanent bracket.

For groups entering Advanced Access on September 30, the new list is enough to settle a launch destination now and avoid discovering at character creation that friends selected incompatible factions.

This article covers the Steam / PURPLE Global service only and should not be confused with the current Korea or Taiwan server structure.
