Aion2 Bot Update Oct 30: AION 2 Bot Closes the Game to Rest After Dailies, Leaves Dungeons After 20 Minutes, Swaps Failed Subscription IPs for Nearby Ones

Aion2 Bot shipped several builds on October 30 (02:48, 10:40, 10:42 and 22:32, all UTC+8). Three changes matter most. Because of the gathering limit, the Control Center no longer offers “Start Gathering” after dailies: every character now closes the game and rests once its Daily Activities are done. A new dungeon setting makes the bot leave a run that is not finished within 20 minutes. And when an official subscription IP temporarily fails, the bot reassigns a working nearby IP. If you have been unable to log in, updating to the latest version fixes it, and the 22:32 build fixes some accounts that were not extracting.

Control Center: close the game and rest after dailies

The 02:48 build changes the Control Center. The team says this is because of the limit on gathering:

• The “Start Gathering” option after a character finishes its Daily Activities has been removed for all characters.
• Every character now does the same thing: once done, it closes the game and rests until the next day.
• The character-switch gathering template has been improved.
• The “Switch to Next Character” step can now be deleted. Without it, the game is closed once the tasks are finished.

Dungeons: leave after 20 minutes

The 02:48 build adds a new setting: if a dungeon run is not finished within 20 minutes, the bot leaves. According to the team, an ordinary party clears a dungeon in 7–10 minutes.

• After 20 minutes, the character leaves the dungeon on its own, whether the party has wiped or it is waiting for teammates.
• 10:42: the team adds that if your characters are not leaving dungeons, open the updater and update to the latest version.

Proxy IP: nearby IP when a subscription IP fails

The 02:48 build improves the official subscription IPs. When the assigned IP is temporarily unavailable, the bot reassigns a nearby IP that works.

At 10:40 the team said that if you have been unable to log in normally, open the updater and update to the latest version.

How to update

To update, open the updater. On game maintenance days the update is mandatory. Test a new version on a few machines first, then update the rest.
