AION 2 Market Requirements: Level 45, Membership and the 10-Listing Limit
To sell on the AION 2 Global Market you need to pass three gates: your character must be level 45, you need Special Quai Membership to list (buying doesn’t need it), and your account has to be at a high enough registration confidence stage for the item you’re listing. Even then you can only have 10 items listed at once, and far fewer items are tradeable than on the Taiwan server.
Most of this comes from the Global client’s data tables, not from an NC notice, so the numbers below describe what the client contains. The parts decided on NC’s servers, such as the exact confidence thresholds, are unknown and we say so where it matters.
The three gates at a glance
| Gate | Global | Taiwan server | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Market unlock level | 45 | 16 | Client data; guide sites also list 45 for Global |
| Membership to list | Special Quai Membership required | Required | Client data |
| Membership to buy | Not required | Required | Client data |
| Registration confidence | Active, checked on the server | Table exists, text is placeholder, not switched on | Client data and the in-game error |
| Simultaneous listings | 10 | — | Client data |
If a listing fails, the client tells you which gate you hit. Fix that one first; meeting one gate doesn’t lift another.
Gate 1: level 45
On Global the Market opens at level 45, compared with level 16 on the Taiwan server. Membership does not skip it. If you’re coming from Taiwan, this is the first surprise: a fresh alt can’t sell anything until it reaches 45. Our AION 2 Kinah farming guide without Odyle covers what to do with drops before then.
Gate 2: Membership is for selling, not buying
This is the point most guides get wrong. In the Global client, listing an item on the Market requires Special Quai Membership, while buying does not. On the Taiwan server both actions require it. NC’s own Launch FAQ only says the optional monthly membership gives access to the player-driven economy and currency exchanges, without splitting buying from selling.
So if you only want to buy gear for your main, you don’t need to subscribe for that alone. If you plan to sell farmed loot, budget for membership. Price and billing period are shown in the in-game shop; guide sites quote different figures, so check the shop rather than a video. People searching “aion 2 market subscription” are usually asking exactly this.
Membership follows the server, not the account: NC’s server transfer Q&A says it moves with you and merges with any membership on the target server. If you have characters on several servers, check each one.
Gate 3: the registration confidence stage
This is the Global-only rule behind the insufficient gameplay record message. When a listing is refused, the server returns the error kTradeSell_Fail_RegistrationConfidence and the client shows a line like “Listing certain items is restricted due to insufficient gameplay record.” It started with the October 13/14 patch, which added a system to restrict listing gathering materials based on gameplay history.
According to the client table, the confidence stage controls three things:
- how much Kina you can buy at the currency exchange;
- the daily settlement cap on Market sales;
- the share of Quna that is held as pending when you top up Quna.
What the client does not contain: which items are restricted, the limits at each stage, and how you move up a stage. All of that is decided server-side. Players report ore, gems and Odyle being blocked, which matches NC’s “gathering materials” wording. The “2,000W Kinah per day” figures in some videos may be related to this daily settlement cap, but no official number exists.
For the full list of what’s confirmed and which “fixes” are myths (buying Quna, waiting for reset, transferring servers), read our insufficient gameplay record FAQ.
The 10-slot listing cap
You can have at most 10 items on the Market at the same time. That changes how you sell:
- List your most valuable items first. Ten slots full of cheap materials block a piece of golden gear.
- Bundle stackables. One stack takes one slot, so list materials in full stacks rather than singles.
- Price to move. An item sitting for days at a high price is a slot you can’t use. Listing close to the current lowest price clears slots faster.
Why so few items can be sold
The Global client marks about 1,700 items as tradeable, against 2,868 on the Taiwan server. Around 360 items that share the same ID on both servers were switched to non-tradeable on Global. Most of them are legendary and unique gear from dungeons and raids, plus godstones, wings and some materials. The seal stone category was removed from the Market entirely, and the gauntlet and brooch tabs are hidden.
In practice: if a dungeon drop shows no “list” option, it’s probably on that list, not a bug. Use it, dismantle it or keep it for a later patch. NC can change tradeability at any time, so check the item tooltip.
Quick troubleshooting
| What the client says (roughly) | Likely gate | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Level too low | Level 45 | Level the character first |
| Membership required or expired | Membership | Renew; check each server separately |
| Insufficient gameplay record | Registration confidence | Sell non-gathered items; use materials yourself; contact NC Customer Support if you think it’s wrong |
| No free listing slot | 10-item cap | Cancel or reprice a slow listing |
| Item can’t be listed at all | Non-tradeable on Global | Check the tooltip; use or dismantle it |
| Too many requests | Rate limit | Wait a moment before listing again |
Never try to get around the confidence stage by moving Kina between alts or buying Kina from third parties. NC’s account restriction notices since October 10 name abnormal trading that harms the game economy, and buying Kina or Quna from unauthorized sellers can end in a permanent suspension. See the AION 2 ban wave explained.
Automating listings with Aion2 Bot
Once you know the rules, selling is repetitive: pick items, check prices, list, collect, repeat. Aion2 Bot’s Market auto-listing puts the golden gear and stacked materials you farm onto the Market for you. You choose “lowest price” to sell fast or “average price” (the higher of the current lowest and the average) to earn more, and enhanced or engraved gear is never listed automatically. The feature needs a key with auto-listing permission (the all-in-one card), and the character still needs its own Market membership. If you run several accounts, the Control Center shows each account’s remaining membership time; names turn red when it is about to expire and grey once it has.
The game’s own rules still apply: the bot can’t list items blocked by the confidence stage or marked non-tradeable, and the 10-slot cap is the same for everyone. Aion.Onl uses advanced anti-detection technology to protect your account as far as possible, but any third-party tool carries risk, so follow NC’s rules. We don’t sell Kina or offer any Kina trading channel. New users get a 3-hour free trial key by registering at user.aion.onl; grab the client from the download page, and tutorials and support are on Telegram.
