AION 2 Global Hits 400,000 Active Users and Sends a Second Launch Gift

AION 2 Global has passed another launch milestone, with NC announcing 400,000 active users and attaching a second in-game thank-you gift to the update.

The first milestone post went live when the service reached 300,000 active users. NC said players would receive Artisan’s Roasted Fogus (Bound) x15. The announcement was then updated after the next threshold, with the 400,000-user message adding Resurrection Spiritstone (Bound) x15.

The wording matters. NC describes these figures as active users or active players, but the reward notice does not publish a full measurement window or methodology. That means the 400,000 figure should not automatically be treated as identical to Steam concurrent-player data. Steam’s publicly visible peak has also approached 400,000, but it is a different metric and only covers one platform.

For players, the practical part of the announcement is the pair of launch gifts rather than the headline population number. Anyone playing Global should keep an eye on in-game mail and official notices in case the items have a separate claim or mail-expiration window.

These rewards apply to the Steam / PURPLE Global service. Korea and Taiwan operate separately and should not be assumed to receive the same gifts.
