AION 2 Global Schedules Separate NAE and NAW Maintenance Windows for the DST Switch

Region: Steam/PURPLE Global — North America East (NAE) and North America West (NAW) only. NC posted two separate temporary-maintenance notices on October 31, 2026. Both are tied to the end of North American daylight saving time. They are not one maintenance window covering every Global region, and neither notice is a full patch announcement.

Both notices list the game servers as the affected service. Login will be unavailable during maintenance, and players who are still online will be disconnected when it begins. The UTC+8 conversions above are calculated from the PDT/CET times printed in the notices.

Why are East and West handled separately?

The two North American regions follow different local time zones. When daylight saving time ends, Eastern time moves from EDT to EST, while Pacific time moves from PDT to PST. NC has therefore scheduled separate maintenance windows for NAE and NAW.

The notices are three hours apart. NAE is listed for October 31 at 22:30 PDT / November 1 at 06:30 CET; NAW follows on November 1 at 01:30 PDT / 09:30 CET. Check the region name before converting the date to your own time zone.

Is a major game update included?

The stated main purpose in both notices is the time-zone adjustment. Neither notice lists a new dungeon, class rebalance, or event as part of this temporary maintenance. If NC adds further details, the updated regional notice should take precedence.

Before logging in

NAE players in UTC+8 should plan around November 1 at 13:30.
NAW players in UTC+8 should plan around November 1 at 16:30.
Finish dungeon runs, trades, and character changes before the window starts.
Recheck the relevant NC notice in case the schedule changes.
