AION 2 Steam Disclosure: AI Assistance Is Listed for Arcana Card Designs and Some Icons

Scope: Steam/PURPLE Global coverage; this disclosure is displayed directly on the Steam store page.

AION 2’s Steam store page includes an AI Generated Content Disclosure. It says that AI tools assisted with the creation of some in-game assets, specifically naming Arcana card designs and some icons.

The wording matters. The publisher’s disclosure confirms AI assistance for a portion of the game’s assets, but it does not say that every visual asset—or the entire game—was generated by AI.

What the store statement confirms

There are two important limits in the wording:

• “Some in-game assets” means a subset of assets, not all game content.
• “Arcana card designs and some icons” identifies the examples the page actually names.

A careful summary is therefore that AI tools were used in the creation process for some assets, including Arcana card designs and certain icons.

What remains undisclosed

The current store text does not provide a complete asset list, a count of affected items, the specific models or tools used, or a breakdown of AI-generated and human-created work. It also does not establish that character models, environments, animations, music, or every UI element were AI-generated.

If a community post claims that a particular card or icon was made with AI, that claim needs its own evidence. The store disclosure alone cannot verify every individual asset.

How to read the disclosure

For players, the most reliable interpretation is narrow but clear: NC’s Steam listing acknowledges AI assistance in some asset production and names Arcana card designs and some icons as examples. If the publisher later provides a more detailed account of the affected assets or workflow, the picture can be updated from that new information.
