Region: Steam/PURPLE Global. NC’s latest official notice reports that 12,586 accounts were restricted in the batch dated October 23, 2026, at 17:00 PDT / October 24 at 02:00 CEST. The notice identifies botting or gold-farming activity, unauthorized programs, and real-money trading (RMT) among the policy violations addressed.

A batch figure, not a lifetime total

The Global service has published enforcement notices for other dates as well. The 12,586 figure belongs to this specific batch. NC did not publish a combined count of unique accounts across all notices, nor did it explain whether different batches overlap. Adding the numbers from separate notices would therefore not produce a verified cumulative total.

Restrictions and security locks are different

The notice distinguishes policy enforcement from temporary account protection:
