AION 2 Global EU Maintenance: October 25 Downtime and the CEST-to-CET Clock Change

Region: Steam/PURPLE Global EU servers. NC has announced a temporary maintenance window beginning October 24, 2026 at 17:30 PDT / October 25 at 02:30 CEST. The stated duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes. Game-server login will be unavailable, and players who are online when maintenance begins will be disconnected.

Start time for players in China

The announced start corresponds to 08:30 on October 25 in China Standard Time (UTC+8). This conversion is provided for convenience; the launcher and the official notice remain the source of truth if the schedule changes.

Why the time-zone note matters

NC says the main purpose is to adjust for the European change from Central European Summer Time (CEST) to Central European Time (CET). The maintenance falls around the end of daylight saving time, when clocks in Europe move back. Do not calculate the entire maintenance window using one fixed CEST offset.

Before maintenance

• Finish dungeon runs, trading, and other activities that require an uninterrupted session.
• Expect to be disconnected when the maintenance starts and unable to log in during the window.
• Check the official notice again for any revised start time or duration.

This notice specifically names the EU game servers. It does not announce simultaneous downtime for North America, South America, or Asia, and it does not describe a class or dungeon balance patch.
