AION 2 Global Eases Some Market Listing Restrictions for Gathered Materials

Region: Steam/PURPLE Global. The October 20 PDT / October 21 CEST patch notes say the Market’s restriction on listing gathered materials has been adjusted. Some players who were previously restricted can trade normally again, while others remain restricted.

This is not a blanket removal of the rule, and it does not mean every affected account has automatically regained listing access.

What changed?

An earlier Global update introduced a Market restriction on listing gathered materials based on gameplay history. The October 21 update confirms that the restriction has been adjusted: some players can list and trade normally again, but the restriction remains in place for others.

The published summary does not disclose the full decision criteria, a minimum playtime, or a specific recovery threshold. It would therefore be inaccurate to promise that reaching a certain level, farming for a set number of hours, or gathering a fixed quantity will restore access.

If your listings are still restricted

Read the in-game Market message and identify whether it concerns gathered-material listings rather than an account sanction or a temporary security lock.
If the restriction remains after the update, do not assume the status is necessarily an error; NC says some restrictions continue.
Avoid relying on community claims about a guaranteed playtime or gathering threshold. The official note does not publish one.
Contact Global customer support if you believe your account status is incorrect.

Not the same as an account-enforcement wave

This change concerns eligibility to list gathered materials on the Market. It does not cancel the operation policy against bots, gold farming, unauthorized programs, or real-money trading, and it does not announce that account sanctions have been lifted.
