AION 2 Soundtrack Guide for Global Players: 70 Tracks and Atreia's Musical Legacy
For Steam/PURPLE Global readers; original release region and date: Korea and Taiwan, November 19, 2025. This is background reporting on an existing soundtrack, not an announcement of a new October 2026 Global event.
For players discovering Atreia through the worldwide PC launch, one piece of AION 2 deserves its own guide: The Echoes of Eternity, an official 70-track original soundtrack in three chapters. NC’s NCSOUND label released the album with the Korean and Taiwanese launch in November 2025. Its structure makes the relationship between the older AION score and the sequel’s musical world unusually easy to explore.
Where to begin listening
Legacy of Light is the chapter for returning players. NC explicitly identifies new arrangements of familiar pieces including Tower of Eternity, Forgotten Sorrow and Darkness in Your Heart. Listening to those themes alongside the originals reveals the album’s approach to continuity.
Atreia Chronicle follows the game’s expanded continent and mythology, favoring the atmosphere of travel and world-building. Invasion turns toward bosses, invasions and more intense encounters. These chapter labels describe the album, not release phases or proof that every Korean/Taiwanese encounter is available on Global servers.
A title track connecting two generations
The Tower of Eternity: Into the New World was co-composed by Simon Franglen, known for his work on the Avatar films, and Ryo Kunihiko (Yang Bang Ean), associated with the original AION. NC says it was recorded at AIR Studios in London, performed by the Chamber Orchestra of London.
The wider album also features contributions from musicians including Kevin Penkin, Piotr Musial and Fran Soto, as well as other instrumental ensembles and vocalists. The distinction matters: those are album-wide credits, not evidence that every track shares the title track’s composers.
Official options for listening
NC named Spotify, YouTube Music, Melon and Genie in its release, as well as the official NCSOUND YouTube channel for tracks and recording footage. Regional music licensing can vary, so search the full album title if a service does not show it under a generic AION query.
Old AION fans may find it most rewarding to start with the rearranged themes, then move to the new title music and finally the Invasion chapter. None of this establishes a timetable for Global gameplay updates: it is an opportunity to appreciate the music already produced for the franchise.
